A healing City - Belfast during lockdown...

Hey guys!

Welcome back to CapturedbyBarry, I hope everyone is staying safe!

These times are becoming very challenging and as the government has just extended lockdown for a further 3 weeks AT LEAST, I'm trying to keep myself busy each day by making use of my one hour of exercise...

Therefore I was thinking it would be really cool to get some shots of the City centre completely desolate! I was really apprehensive and anxious that the authorities would stop me and ask where I was going or what I was doing with a camera walking about town, but the more I thought about it I was utilising my hour of exercise to do something productive and of course I was alone so I think it was ok? I don't know what do you think? lol.

Anyway it turned out just how I thought, and I got some amazing pictures...

These are some of Belfast's most famous bars that are normally all thriving, especially when the weather is so good! It's really sad to see but at the same time I will probably never see something like it again! So it will be something I will always remember and will surely go down in history!

The above shots are Belfast's most famous streets, empty! Not a soul about... this was so eerie to see and be in town alone with no-one else about... there is one positive though and it is that people are listening and staying at home! 

I hope you enjoyed the content - it is very hard to think of shoot ideas whenever most places are closed etc. 

Please feel free to give me some suggestions as taking photos is really the only thing I can do to keep myself occupied!
